Defensive Driving Course

A course designed to help you become a safe and responsible driver.

This course is targeted toward the younger driver (16+) but is open to all who need or want a refresher.

Session 3 S.A.R Searching, Assessing and Reducing Risk (Part 1)

Session 4 S.A.R Searching, Assessing and Reducing Rick (Part 2)

Session 5 In-car Assessment

This course is divided into 5 sessions and is run over consecutive Tuesday and Thursday nights with session 5 being a 45 minute in-car assessment of the knowledge gained in class, at a time and date that suits the student.

Course times are from 5pm to 6.30pm and student participation and interaction are hallmarks of the courses we run.

Course requirements:

  1. Learner licence holders are able to attend - participants can attend a defensive driving course once you’ve had your learner licence for 4 months or have had at least 50 hours driving experience.
  2. Restricted licence holders can attend as soon as they have their restricted licence
  3. Participants must attend all classes and the driving assessment
  4. A minimum of 6 people to attend a course, before a class will be run

  1. Prices, dates and venue can be discussed when interest of bookings are made
  2. Tutor has had 8 years of experience in driver training
